People Operations Analyst needed to join a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to improving access to quality child care and strengthening families through education, support services, and provider development programs. Under the direct supervision of the Director, People Experience, the People Analyst will analyze operational data related to People & Culture and interdepartmental initiatives and projects. The People Analyst will manage the project life cycle; communicate project status, goals, and targets; and research, develop, and implement policies and procedures as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Within a team structure, this position will perform the following responsibilities:
- Data Project Coordination (50%)
- Establish and maintain professional connections with internal and external CCRC clients, as directed.
- Manage new HR projects and research innovations and efficiencies to drive meeting strategic goals.
- Coordinate with leadership across agency divisions to ensure all relevant parties to a project are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Represent P&C People Analytics for Agency unified data strategy.
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document and track project needs.
- Continue to prioritize and grow the HR Scorecard and other operational dashboards.
- Support and collaborate with CHRO, and P&C Leadership with workforce data and analytics needs; report and identify emerging opportunities for further analysis.
- Design, build, and maintain advanced Workday reports, including Composite, Matrix, and other custom reporting solutions, utilizing calculated fields and system-delivered information.
- Maintain and develop Workday dashboards, discovery boards, in addition to other dashboard platforms.
- Apply a continuous improvement approach to analytic solutions, including dashboards that deliver data-driven
- insights using employee surveys and other data sources to identify and highlight trends affecting the employee lifecycle with a focus on employee engagement and retention.
- Stay informed by working with the P&C leadership team to develop an understanding of workforce challenges that require statistical analysis.
- Research regularly on the latest HR trends that speak to the data results on what is happening within the agency.
- Communicate research and data analysis findings including preparing presentations that speak to a wide variety of internal audiences.
- Support efforts to improve and evolve P&C’s reporting and analytics capabilities
- Manage employee outreach/survey programs across the employee lifecycle as directed.
- Oversee administration for survey platforms.
Qualified People Operations Analysts should have:
- BA/BS in Human Resources, Psychology, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field from a four-year college or University
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in People Analytics and/or Data Science experience with a focus on workforce or people trends.
- 1 year Workday Custom Report Writing and Calculated Fields required.
- Demonstrated ability in data collection, data cleansing, and analysis, including advanced analytics techniques such as multivariate regression models.
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis, research design, data collection, interpreting results, and translating findings into actionable recommendations
- Background in HR data reporting, interactive dashboards, and successfully collaborating with HR functional leaders and analysts, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Visier, SQL Query, or comparable analytic platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to manage and analyze data efficiently.
- Exposure to and understanding of HR systems, tools, processes, and data.
- Demonstrated experience in translating business strategies, needs, and priorities into research questions or hypotheses, and selecting and applying appropriate research methods and/or statistical analysis.

- 5+ years of experience in Workday Core Reporting and Data analytics, Data Hub, and Workday Prism Analytics, creating custom report writing supporting People Analytics, HR Analytics, and Workforce Insights.
- 3+ years of focused studies/experience in a field emphasizing applied people research and data analytics in organizations such as analytics, Human Resources, organizational effectiveness, industrial/organizational psychology or other related fields
This role is a hybrid in-office role (3 days a week in office) in their San Fernando Valley headquarters.
