We currently have a great opportunity for a Payroll Coordinator for a reputable law firm’s Los Angeles office. The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for processing the bi-weekly payroll and performing complex and specialized accounting support. The Payroll Coordinator will work with the accounting department to ensure client relations and satisfaction are attained in all areas of position.
Specific Payroll Coordinator duties will include:
- Process bi-weekly payroll using UKG
- Respond and resolve external/internal inquiries regarding payroll matters
- Maintain detailed records of time and attendance using UKG
- Reconcile and maintain payroll accordingly
- Post and process benefits deductions as needed, 401(k) contributions and reporting
- Process and maintain accurate records of benefits accruals such as vacation/sick time
- Provide frequent reports to management
- General ledger recording of payroll
- Assist with payroll/Benefits audits.
Ideal Payroll Coordinator candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or business, preferred.
- Minimum of (4) year’s experience in working with multi-state payroll in a middle market environment
- Minimum of (2) year’s experience with UKG payroll
