Litigation Legal Assistant

Legal Assistant needed to join a dedicated and fast-paced law firm supporting a high-performing litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals on complex matters while contributing to a collaborative and detail-oriented environment. The position is well-suited for individuals with civil litigation experience who are highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Legal Assistant Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare and manage correspondence and legal documents while handling a high volume of communication.
  • Electronically file and serve court documents in state and federal courts
  • Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
  • Organize and manage client and case files within document management systems
  • Draft and proofread correspondence and legal filings, and assist with preparation of trial materials and presentations
  • Support expense reporting and coordinate with internal teams on administrative processes
  • Collaborate with team members to assist with additional projects and workflow needs as required

Qualified Candidates Should Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of civil litigation experience, including familiarity with court filing procedures
  • Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with legal software tools and presentation platforms is a plus

We are targeting candidates in the $85k – $105k range, depending on experience and depth of knowledge.
