Litigation Secretary

Litigation Secretary opportunity at a busy and growing law firm’s Westside office. This position will provide comprehensive administrative and specialized secretarial support to litigation attorneys and paralegals. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • preparation of documents, creation and maintenance of e-rooms,

  • processing of foreign associate invoices,

  • handling incoming calls,

  • creation and maintenance of files and e-files,

  • internal/external calendaring of meetings,

  • travel arrangements,

  • expense reimbursement processing,

  • Records maintenance and all other administrative support for Attorneys and Paralegals including time entry, conflict checks, engagement letters, waiver letters and audit letter responses, etc.

Qualified Litigation Secretary Candidates should have

  • 7+ years of litigation experience, preferably at a large firm practice

  • 3+ years as a secretary in a trademark practice is preferred

  • Fast and accurate typing with exhibited proficiency in MS Word, Excel,Worksite/iManage, Outlook, Salesforce and Adobe Acrobat and other firm applications required.

  • College degree

  • The ability to multitask and work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines with quick turnaround times/deadlines, strong organizational skills, great attention to detail.
